2023 Girls Skills Camp (Moorhead)


Dates: Week 1 (August 7-10), Week 2 (August 14-17)

8U/10U Camp : 6:00 – 7:00 PM
12U/15U Camp : 7:15 – 8:15 PM

The Girls Skill Camp will touch on all the basic fundamental skills with a strong emphasis on skating

  • Skating: Stride Efficiency, Edgework, Balance, Explosiveness
  • Stickhandling: Quick Hands, Range, Puck Protection
  • Scoring: Shooting, Scoring Tendencies, Net-front Presence
  • Passing: Giving Passes, Receiving Passes/Giving a Good Target
  • Goalie Training

*Each session will have goalie specific training. Goalie spots are limited to 3.

2023 Scoring Camp (Moorhead) - June 5-8

This camp is designed for boys and girls 10U/Squirt and above looking to improve their shooting and goal-scoring abilities. Sessions will be limited to 20 players for maximum reps (no more than 4 per shooting station and 4:1 player to coach ratio.

  • Improving Shooting Velocity and Accuracy
  • Quick release shooting (Shooting off load foot, one-timers, etc.)
  • Goaltending tendencies and weaknesses and how to exploit them
  • Breakaway situations
  • Net-front play (tipping, rebounds, fighting through traffic to bury)
  • Shooter's illusion
  • Position specific shooting drills
